Oh that and Ultramega Ok. Beyond the wheel has the best vocals. Off of superunknown my favorite is Fresh Tendrils and Like Suicide. I LOVE the part in the middle where the drums crank up and matt bangs the hell out of them. Killer drum sound. This is just my opinion i could be wrong. Sweetdaddy P.S. how do ya'll feel about the soundgarden song Birth Ritual and Cornell's Season off of the single soundtrack. Some of my personal favorites. But there was no unplugged, it was an hour of film clips, from Loud Love through to BUTOW, 12 songs in all. Truly worth staying up for, as I hadn't seen Loud Love or Hands All Over before, so I was quite ecstatic at that hour of the morning (not usually ecstatic at any time, really, so there you go). I did tape it and I would offer to tape it for others, but I don't know what the quality would be like, probably pretty shoddy, anyway, just thought I'd let you all know what it was about. On the A&M link from the page is the BUTOW video in its entirety. It's kinda choppy but cool to see. I couldn't remember if we discussed it before, so if we have, please curse me endlessly. And something I know we've discussed before, but on which I was never quite clear. About a year and a half ago, people mentioned seeing the video for "superunknown" on MTV. I got the impression that it was one of the three from the AITS CD-ROM content. Was this the case? I think it has about five songs. It was released about Jan this year at the same time Soundgarden were touring australia. Back to what I was saying. I bought DOTU in May last year, and then In Jnaurary this year they re-released it with the other cd. What is SG's last song made. To me, Bleed Together would be it, since I got it on Burden in my Hand. I don't think that remix's like Moby's mix is a new song. I don't think some geek fooling around with copies of the master song is valid enough to be a NEW SG. 2. Does anyone have seen or info or SG's last interview together? Great review, Justin. As for the lyrics, in a '94 Headbangers Ball interview, Ben says, "Head Down is about how a little kid is taught to smile and then his smile is taken away. Anyway it is nice to know that there are respectable jobs out there for former grunge guitarists and look forward to seeing Kim at Kinko's some day. P.S. BMF was the record that made me think of soundgarden as the best band ever. my favourite album. By the way, i thought the US, AMOK, SAG, Cornea, etc. post was very cool. funny.
