Hi all,

I've seen the score of that contest " what is looking better" : facial
hair (Chris Cornell) or clean shaven (gavin rosdale). I KNOW it is a stupid
contest which doesn' t make sense, but after seeing that f---ing score (657
for Chris and 2157(!) for Gavin), I feel bad note to have voted... I
haven't seen the pictures yet, but I can't understand this score : there's
no need to be a girl to see that Chris is gorgeous.

		Sincerely, Nicolas.

PS : does anybody can E-mail me to let me know where I can find the 2
pictures - just to check...

Do not trade with this person, they totally flaked on a trade with me and have
not returned any mail from me.

He's one of those guys that says he's going to ship on the same day as you do
and then never does, as well as the type that claims they never got your
pack. But when you ship them a copy of the groundtrack courtesy of ups that
was signed by him, he does not return your e-mails. Nice story isn't it?

I'll be sure to post his name address and phone number tomorrow!

Pushing Forward Back. Does anyone know if TOTD is on the soundtrack? If so,
who else is on it? Oh yeah, there was a SG spotlight a month or so ago and
they didn't play flower. I've got it taped and it has - Hands All Over,
Rusty Cage, Outshined, JCP, BHS (no shit,) My Wave, Pretty Noose and Burden
In My Hand. It's a 2 parter and is pretty good. BYE.

but I can't get them to install right. I've got Windows 95 and it keeps

I pick, it doesn't work. If anyone out there can help me, I'd greatly
appreciate it. Thanks

I was gonna get off in a compare with this pathetic MM video I saw last
night, but changed my mind.

Instead I will say thats what Ive always loved so much about SOUNDGARDEN.
They have never tried to cram a bunch of garbage down peoples throats. Their
stand alone songs, riffs, fluidity, and talent was what they had to offer and
was all they needed to offer.

What do I have to say about that commentary? WHAT A CROCK OF SHIT.
Come on now, the site is more than games and finding out what Chris'
name is on different records. They say such stuff like 'archived for
perusal by the truly bored'. They also have the nerve to rate it lower
than the imusic site(at least that's how I saw it) which, in my opinion,
has less SG info than seth's site. It just goes to show that the folks
at Rolling Stone always do half-ass research.

Here's some of what Leslie posted:

First off, I almost agree with him. My love for SG began with
Badmotorfinger, the start of the 'Ben Years'. I do like Louder Than
Love, tho, but as for the first two(including the double EP CD), I'm not
a big fan of those.

As for 'Badmotorfinger' coming on 95.5 KLOS, that radio station used to
play SG, but they've changed formats(again) and now play mostly 80s rock
and bands such as Counting Crows. Yuck.
Some of you SoCali sommsters may well remember 105.5 KNAC, which was the
ONLY station in LA who had the balls to play JCP, as well as other
rarely-played SG tunes.

Prodigy Delays Tour, May Get Help From Soundgarden
                          Drummer

March 20 [7:55 EST] -- If you were hoping to catch The
Prodigy live while "Firestarter" is still fresh in your head, you'll
have to wait a bit longer.

The band has just pushed back its U.S. tour, originally slated to
kick off on April 14 in Chicago, and says it will now wait until at
least June before it comes to the States. The band says it want to
complete its upcoming Maverick Records debut before touring.

When the album, titled "Fat of the Land,"
hits stores, it may feature the work of
     Soundgarden drummer Matt Cameron. Our
colleagues at MTV Europe report that
Cameron may turn up in sampled form on
the album, noting that Soundgarden and
Prodigy headlined a recent Australian tour together, during which
the English band apparently formed a sort of Matt Cameron fan
     club.

The Prodigy is not talking about this report.

I didn't expect less from John Garcia. Kyuss is one of my favourite bands
too, they're all breaking up huh? I hope Monster Magnet doesn't come next.

Speaking of Kyuss and Soundgarden, they both did a cover of Black Sabbath's
"Into the Void". Kyuss' was released after they broke up, on Man's Ruin
Records.
I posted about this some time ago. Well I didn4t manage to get it so if
anyone out there has heard it, PLEASE post a little review or something.
How does it compare to Soundgarden's version?

Enrique.

Hello my loves.

I've got one thing to say to Matt. One big hug and a kiss for you. I
thought it was so sincere for him to write us, and now I feel sort of better,
knowing that there is still a strong or stronger bond between the guys than
ever before.

And yes, a thanx to Seth for everything, kepping us on top of things, and
most of all, bringing us all together. I would have never have met half the
people on her if it weren't for you.

SUSAN. I admire that woman soooo much. What she does is one of the hardest
things in the music buisness, and she does it soo well. I think she's a good
example of hard work well done.

My vote....Chris. Gavin has an old look to him. Actually, It must have
been the whole bush newsgroup who even came up with the idea.

anyway. QUESTION> Where can I find hype!? Is it in the stores, like
Suncoast? I really want to see it.

Subject: Fopp!!!/the site in a book

SOMMSters far and wide!!!
i found my very own copy of the Fopp EP!!!! yeah! i am SO happy
with my find. and i know i was overcharged at $30, but i really
didn't care. the guy that works at Noise Pollution (local vinyl
store) knows when i walk through that door to start digging cause
he's got something i want. = ) = ) = ) you all should see my idiot
grin. = ) and i got a copy of the Rusty Cage promo for $7.99 and the
Flower EP on cassette (cute!) for $6.75 and then the latest KERRANG!
(not the one with the pull-out yet, though) for $2 cause the guy
couldn't find the price to charge me, so he says "i just made it real
cheap." = ) AND the guy also has a Matt Cameron signed and used (it's
quite busted at the end, the tip is separated from the side by this
huge split) drumstick. he's asking $20. am i a total cheeseball if i
get it? i dunno, it's really cute "Matt Cameron, Soundgarden- Rock
on!" it says. i love my blond matt so much! yr too cute mattster!!
And i'm getting a Ty Cobb single next week too. the place is so cool,
I've really cleaned them out lately. and they also had the Screaming
Life EP on black for like $20, and I got mine for $8, so what a rip-
off there. they do overcharge, but the stuff i've bought has been
damn worth it.

As for seth in a rock book, i can't remember the name now, but
there's this way huge book in this bookstore with all this
information about each "rock band" in the past forever, and it has a
who they were influenced by and who they've influenced section. it
says SG was influenced by sabbath and Zep and they influenced Nirvana
and PJ. = ) and it also has a "stay away from" thing so the guy can
bitch about the albums he hates most. His hated was the combo CD
release of SL/Fopp. he just hated it. basically said it was awful.
Okay, so then in the index section thing, it had all the bands in the
book and websites for them! So i find SG as fast as possible and YES!
WE ARE LISTED!! and *above* the official site too. only the two sites
were listed, but seth's was up top. made me very very happy. seems
like the site has gotten a lot of recognition lately- great job seth.
do you like all the attention? = ) later,

 a happy mind riot
