Muchmusic is too Canadians is what MTV is to all ya Yanks. A
spotlight just focuses on a cetain band and has videos, interviews,
and live performances. So on June 2-3, (a spotlight is 30 min) 1 hour

Also might want to note that Prodigy will be on Lollapalooza this year,
but only the second half of the tour (July 17th on). Maybe Matt will put
in an appearance there also.

This isn't Soundgarden related but, also on Lolla this year in Korn, Tool
(possibly headlining), orbital and Tricky. This info is from the
unofficial Lolla page but I recieved dates from the Korn mailing list that
lists the dates and locations. If you want them let me know.

Speaking of Satan...has anyone been noticing the Satanic imagery in the
Bush videos? Like on one of their latest (don't ask me which, I don't
listen to that shit) in one scene there is a jar of urine with an
upside-down cross submerged in it. Not only do I find that inherently
evil, but damn, it's not even original! That's a direct rip-off of a piece
of shit done by the same fucker that did the artwork used for the Metallica
"Load" CD.

If we use Gavin as a representation as Satan, then maybe we should get
Chris to do a Jesus Christ Pose - i.e. a field goal punt position to kick
his ass from here to eternity.

the "hell" is that someone on this list spent a LOT Of their time and
trouble to make a tape and tree it FOR FREE to people on this list out of
the goodness of his heart. therefore, you, or anyone else, have no right
to demand anything of him. (if you weren't demanding, it sure as hell

Just because Soundgarden broke up doesn't mean we need to lapse into

(figuratively, of course). Please, no more discussions of Bush,

It always made a smile come come to face when I'd look at the publishing
companies for each memeber of the band (I think that's what they are).
For example, In One Ear and Out your Mother . . . (guffaw).

Well, Looking at my Alive in The Superunknown CD-ROM thingy today, I was
thrown back! There's a picture of the exit screen in the foldout
describing the CD-ROM interface. Well, the user is offered the choices of
NO or YES . . . Why is this so funny? It's probably not, but I read it as
Ben's old music publishing rights thingy (Noyes Innerouter) . . .
No/Yes = Noyes = Noise . . . Strange . . . very strange . . .
Maybe that's why Ben never like interviewing (here comes a stretch) . . .
Answering questions (No/Yes) is just Noise . . . who cares? It's the
music: Stupiditties (his new publisher): Stupid Ditties or is this all
Stupidity (or the plural Stupiditties?).

And I Still wonder why they named the album after Badmoterfinger
"Superclown" . . . ;)

Date sent: 1-MAY-1997 16:29:03

Whoever mentioned that thing about the Bush video with the inverted
cross in a jar of urine, I agree with you completely. This is precisely
the kind of thing that Chris wrote "Jesus Christ Pose" about. Insulting
Christianity has turned into nothing but a cheap way for shitty musicians
to act like they're cool. "Wouldn't pain me more to bury you rich than to
bury you poor." Give me ten seconds with Gavin Rossdale. We'll find out
how cool he is. :)
I didn't like "Jesus Christ Pose" at first, but after I listened to it
a few more times and figured out the message, I really got to like it.
It's not really about religion at all, but about the way that people act to
try and convince us that they're cool. Obviously, if they were truly cool,
like Chris and the gang, then they wouldn't have to try and prove it, right
?

Later,

Michael Apple

I'm looking into buying more singles. I don't do it often because there is
so many and I have a hard time making up my mind. I'm going to get more
info on what's on these singles than the last time I bought some.

I have a few questions. I searched through my favorites CD stores online
and I found some singles I didn't have and I found out what was on them from
Seth's site except for 2 and I'm not sure about another one.

Fell On Black Days #2 +3 tracks from Germany. Please tell me if the
following track list is correct.

FOBD
Kyle Petty, Son of Richard
Birth Ritual
FOBD (live)

I'm not sure about it since alot of FOBD singles were released everywhere!

The Day I Tried To Live +2 tracks from UK. I didn't find any info about
this on Seth's page. I did see a picture of it though. :) Can anybody tell
me what's on this?

Spoonman +2 tracks from UK and another Spoonman single, but it didn't say
how many tracks and it's from Germany. Can anybody give me any info on these??

I'm going single shopping again. Oh happy day! :)

May Soundgarden be with you.

Hey y'all..
I *know* there are some other big Kyuss fans out there besides me, but even

Ya know what? I never liked Soundgarden until Badmotorfinger. I never liked
Louder than Love, I never liked any of their past shit. In my eyes, the best
record they ever made, the past two have been great, but I think
Badmotorfinger is the one that really caught my ear. I was in Foundations
Forum, how lame is that -- some schmooze fest for Kyuss, and Badmotorfinger
came on 95.5 KLOS and I was blown away. Rusty Cage came on and I was blown
away. I like those guys alot. I'm very proud to say, very proud to say that
our last tour as Kyuss was with Soundgarden, over in Europe. And to me that
was the best, finally we get to open up for a band that's cool.
We've opened up for other bands that are cool but that was fucking awesome."

Yet another one of my favorite bands that is now defunct...:::sigh:::
