Hi everybody,

We can notice that there's on average one stupid question asked by a
stupid person every day in this list...so let me be that person today...and
like I'm not an average guy, I won't ask 1 stupid question, but 2.
-First, When is the next soundgarden masterpiece be recorded
-and will they ever do an M tv unplugged or something like that ?

I'm sorry to ask such boring questions but I really need to know and I'll
be on hunger strike* till I don't have an answer.

I hope that I haven't done too many mistakes...I'm french.

HEY HEY HEY!! hold on, don't want a regional war either! ;) but in a
magazine article (kerrang i think?) on seth's page, they ask chris, if
you could live anywhere else besides seattle, where would it be and HE
SAID <me beaming with canuck pride> that he had seriously thought of
moving to canada because and i quote "its so big and there's almost nobody
there, and that really appeals to me". off colored remark yes, (i mean
*come on*, toronto has a bigger population than seattle!).. slightly
sarcastic, just maybe. a little insulting, perhaps....but he *did* say
it!! and he did say "seriously" and and and...damn it! just let me bask in
the patriotic glow of this one ok? ;)

lets see, today i first quoted a tv segment i saw once and don't have on
tape, and now i am quoting from an article that i also saw once and don't
even own...strange how all things soundgarden stick to my brain..now only
if this technique can work for my exam next week.

hey.....

About Chris doin' remarks on the US-Canadian border.... I read somewhere
that when Chris and his buddies where teens, they would constantly cross
the border to take full advantage of British-Columbias' lower legal
drinkin' age.... Of course, customs being what they are, it's highly
probable they had some misadventures...

A while back someone wrote that Chris' should not stop drinking and
smoking. HELLO!! Have you not seen TOMBSTONE? Remember when the doctor
asked Doc Holiday to quit smokin, drinking to stay alive for a few more
years before TB takes his life, he in fact did not!! He dies at the end.
Yes this is a movie and probably not a true story, however the same rules
apply. If Chris quits smokin' and drinking, even just for a little while,
I am sure his voice will improve. I so fucking tired of all these lead
singers fucking up their careers because of liquid, smoke, or in some cases
powder. It is so fucking not worth it!! Examples: Kurt Cobain, Jim
Morrison, Shannon Hoon, "Doc Holiday", etc. Yeah, someone is bound to
respond that it is ONLY booze or it is ONLY cigarrettes, but those can KILL
what is most important to him, his voice!!! They may also lead to more
serious illnesses. Frankly, I would rather have him not sing at all for a
while and take a temporary leave from the band for a year or so in order
for him to come back with SG with even better (if at all possible) songs!!
So many bands fuck up because their lead singers were to fucking stupid:
Guns and Roses, Van Halen (although they are back but not as good as they
were), Ugly Kid Joe (where the fuck are they?) and so on!! Chris Cornell
and Soundgarden kick some serious ass and I would hate to seem them fuck up
now since they are doing so well. I respect Chris' too much to condone (as
if it were up to me) drinking and smoking in turn for his singing.
Soundgarden is one of few bands (maybe the only one) where the lead singer
does not get do drugs. (I do not know if he has in the past however) This
in itself is a momentous thing!! I do not think I could live with out
Chris Cornel's voice oozing out of my stereo system like smooth pudding. I
have gotten too attach, as have others, to his melancholic but true spirit
to let it go so soon in trade of liquid and smoke each and all of us can do
with out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually I think its a pretty funny pic of them. From what I can tell
of Kim's hair, it looks like it was a windy day, probably early in
the morning. They probably have better things to do than to sit
around and do a photo shoot. So the photographer is probably trying
to motivate them and they are just humoring the guy, being the smug
smart-asses that they tend to be. I mean, just look at Chris' face.
It's saying "I *really* don't want to be here." I totally, absolutely
love that look. I don't think the pic is that bad...

You might be right in saying that there isn't really one "all time best
song" from SG, but still there is always one song to which you can
relate as beeing your favorite. For me, it's "Mind Riot". It hasen't got
the best chorus
or the best riff but this tune manages to make me want to break down and
cry every time. Listen to the song, the way Chris sings on it is really
unique. It shows us all how much he mourns for Andy. And this should
touch everyone's soul...

Take care

I think Kim might drink a "little" beer on occasion and smoke two or
three packs a day!!! I am not an advocate of smoking, don't do it myself
but I don't think our preaching to Chris and Kim and Ben(for that matter)

i hope to hell you were sarcastic when you said "it was a good set". (Then
again, the words "good set" and "Devilhead" together in the same sentance

and boy am i glad i stayed home and wrote some code instead. not even
worth walking down the street for. i mean, i can't stand devilhead, and
i'm not going to support ben's tantrums by only going to watch *them*.

i am going to stand in the very back corner when i go to see hater. or at
least on the opposite side of the stage from ben. i've got the show
written on my white board in the kitchen and during ktms week (ktms = kim

well as "and hockey mask". (thank you, andrea and -- thug? i think?)
