A lot of people think I like Soundgarden just for Chris Cornell, but I fell in love with their music before I fell in love with him. This summer I went to my first Soundgarden concert. It was Lollapalooza, and I went with my best friend and we had a blast in South Florida. My favorite part of the concert had to of been the drunk people (even though when Soundgarden started playing people around me may have thought I was drunk) I screamed and hooted when I heard the intro to Spoonman. I have been dieing to see Soundgarden again, but since I am only 15 years old I candrive any where. I mean, really, we can't help it if we weren't listening to music when their older albums came out. That doesn't mean that we can't appreciate the music in the same way that anyone else does. We just got into it a little bit later. Even though the first Soundgarden album I heard was Superunknown I still consider myself a real fan and I think I know what their music is about, just as much as the original fans. Fortunately, though, some people (especially on this list) are pretty open-minded about us, and they're willing to include us in their discussions and everything, so I think that's really awesome, and thanks to all of you.
