HELMET? i'm sure the band would love to have TOOL or CORROSION OF CONFORMITY along...FAITH NO MORE....wow, i'm really dreaming now. any of those bands would make for a hellacious double bill...same thing for AFGHAN WHIGS...now that would be cool, and i think the audiences would be able to really get into both bands... i'll probably have to stick with morphine as the best idea for an opener...they've got a dedicated cult following which i'm confident would be a lot bigger after sg fans got a load of 'em...they're not very well-known so they won't take billing away from our boyz...but they certainly won't be lacking in talent or stage presence. and there's only three members to haul on a tour bus and no messy dirty guitar techs... And as mentioned yesterday, Soundgarden was not listed in the iMusic Newsletter that was mailed out announcing the broadcast. And rumor has it that the owner of the Showbox wanted to broadcast the June 20 gig via RealAudio but was denied by Silver Mgmt. Seems like something of an silly move by both the Mgmt and iMusic, though; the only band at Lollapalooza for which iMusic does the official website is not part of their own broadcast.
