GK>Chris's fork or is it from another source? Is that your fork Nothingman?

Nope. It's not my fork. There's a slight problem with this fork (the
one on the shirt), though. On Chris' fork, the two middle prongs don't
ever turn backwards like the one there. And the outside tongs don't go
out quite as much. I have a pretty good fork that was a bitch to make,
because of twisting the middle prongs without turning them over, if you
know what I mean. I think the shirt should have the fork right side
up, but other than that, I like it.

GK>that have covered an SG song?

Well, someone mentioned before about the Chilli Peppers doing Fopp, and
another said that it wasn't really a cover of SG because it's not by
SG. But anyway, Superchunk (I think) did Girl U Want, which would fit
under this same category. Other than that, I can't think of any. But
I'm sure Pearl Jam did some somewhere along the way, just because they
seem to do that type of thing...like when Chris sang Alive at the end
of Slaves and Bulldozers.

You are not confused. Ohio Players is the name of the original whatever
they were that played FOPP first. Btw, i heard the original version of
"Thank You Fa Lettin Me Be Mice-Elf Again" tonight. It was pretty wierd
to hear it without Chris' voice. Yes, i am sheltered from classic

By the way i recently got Songs from the Superunkown, on import in
Australia, and am a little dissapointed, because the last song is not
really a song just them fooling around. Wow i just realised i have four
versions of Fell on Black Days :)

Ok, i clicked on sheet music, hoping for something interesting.
Well, i am told that our friends Cherry Lane have printed books for the
albums LTL, BMF, and Superunknown, and a "best of" book. (Which i have
browsed through, and is just songs from those three albums.) And then
the thing tells me "No lyrics, sheet music, or ablature is available for
any other soundgarden music." What they don't know won't hurt them, i guess.
But i feel bad that the official people still don't know what they are
talking about. And, btw, seth, your page still blows the imusic one out
of the water and in to interstellar regions. Seems like they'd fix that
image on the first page that doesn't reach the bottom of the screen like
it appears it should. Seth, maybe after you graduate, you should go work
for them. (Just to take over, of course). -j

Well, it indirectly (i mean REALLY indirectly) has a link to seth's page.
It tells you to go visit cherry lane's homepage.
Of course, they didn't make it easy enough for you to just click on the
url and go there. You have to type the damn url in yourself. But,
anyway, the Cherry Lane page has a link to seth's page. Seth, how the
hell did you pull this off? You have on your page for free material
which they are selling, but they even include a link to your page.

I just noticed, on the revised web site, that in the song listing for
somms, they missed out the Rolling Stones' Stray Cat Blues. I think they
might need some of us working for them. It does have a neato scan of the

I kinda like that too...any design that comes in, however, needs to go with
the color of the shirt. If there's a LOT of purple in it, getting a purple
shirt cuts back the cost. Also, watch out, because if we use high-quality
shirts/lots of colors, the price goes up. Front and back raises the price
too...so if we're being cost efficient, two colors front is good...if we're
gonna go crazy, let's go crazy!

would normally last long, but the other two seem to like him a LOT...he's

Well...the fork is basically a bronzish fork, three prongs, the outer prongs
twisted out and up. It's not a full fork, it's pretty much cut off right
above where the fork forks off....er something like that. He's probably
wearing it in one of your images, Seth...

I dunno...I think that a giant twisted fork on the back would be cool, or a
giant twisted fork on the front...Soundgarden wrapped around the fork, and
on the side nothing is on, put somms@MIT.EDU or something.

And color coordinate it, of course!

>------------------------------

>Yeah.. How much would it cost to gold plate it?

The shop said that they could do it for 100 a shirt...but it isn't very
flexible and you can't put it in the laundry machine...it needs to be
polished every time. BUT it doubles as a bullet-proof vest, so that's good news.

Anybody who's still here is REALLY reading into this too much :)

I know no more than this....

Metallica confirmed.

Tour starts 6/26 and runs through 8/10.

Metallica has asked that the tour be performed in "open fields", not the
usual stadiums and arena's.

This may mean a Western New York date!! Those close to the Finger
Lakes...cross your "fingers" :-)

Washington DC date either: 7/16 or 7/23 (tuesday)

NO! Atlanta date because of the olympics.

re last night. I dreamt that Chris and Matt died
in a car crash. It was like a flashback to the Kurt Cobain thing. I was at
home watching my evil television, with the soul sucking MTV tuned in.
Suddenly there's Kurt Loder holding that damn piece of paper that always
means trouble. He said something like "Chris Cornell and Matt Cameron from
the band Soundgarden were killed this morning when they collided head on with
a moving truck. Cameron was pronounced dead at the scene, while Cornell died
later of massive head injuries at the hospital." That's not exactly what he
said, but close enough. Someone please hold my hand and promise me that they
