(not that Zep was no good...they kicked ass) Sabbath owes most of their greatness, in my opinion, to Tony Iommi for writing simple, but incredibly killer riffs on the guitar. Also, the tuned down thing, half step or dropped D, is used extensively by SG. (dropped D I mean). i think that Electric Funeral and Paranoid and Sabbath, Bloody Sabbath are the best BS efforts. Not that I am dissing Iron Man, or War Pigs or Fairies WEar Boots, or geez, any other Sabbath song. They have five albums but only two are on major labels. Their punk/hardcore album "Technocracy" was decent but "Animosity" is better. Neither of these sold that well. "Blind" got the band more well-known since it contains better musicianship.
