I'm subscribed to 3 different music lists and I see no reason to limit my musical tastes according to someone else's narrow definition of a true fan, or whatever. Do people flame SG as much on the Pearl Jam newsgroup? Maybe this was why they decided to play this all the time and MTV showed this video all the time. If this is number one, a lot of people are really not going to pay that much attention to the "day i tried to live" even though it was a pretty good song. I don't know, maybe it won't be comming to my town, but I live in Green Bay and it is not all that small of a place. So could some one fill me in if the 21st is the real date. This is about SOUNDGARDEN, why we like/love their music, sharing information about the band and other related material. Music can be a binding experience. If someone can not enjoy what you listen to, respect that space... you can attract more people with honey than viniger. Soundgarden fans are kinda like Doors fans, they are almost religious in their intesity about a group that does not get alot of the respect it deserves. If you are disapointed by the local air-play (or lack there of) then organize a request drive. You have the resources here to meet like minded people and make yourself heard. I love them both... for whichever failings and advantages, both bands are so fun to listen to and watch develop. His comparison of the two bands was the most extensive and well put together that I've seen.
