This has listings for mailing lists pertaining to every band you can think of. It's two years old, so I don't know if many of these lists still exist. And needless to say, SOMMS is not there. They mention a mailing list called "Mind Riot" for discussion related to Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Temple of the Dog, and Mother Love Bone. Does anyone know if this still exists? I suppose it's because it's nice to know that someone else knows how you feel. Or maybe because you don't feel as isolated and alone with a sad song playing. Happy songs make you feel as if the person singing is in another dimension and they never have bad days. I get depressed alot. I used to get depressed a lot more and I'm surprized I didn't mess my Soundgarden cds up by listening to them so much. I really love the Superunknown cd. Most of the songs just seem to appeal to me. They seem to fit my moods or something. I really love "The day I Tried To Live" and "Fourth of July" and "Mailman." They're all really good, though. I can't even say that those three are my favorites. I just wanted to let you know that i feel the same way. He said that he is usually shy and this is his fight to try to be more outgoing.
