The album is about dyslexia 'cause CC saw something that said Superclown,
and thought it said Superunknown. SO he thought to himself, "That would
be a cool album/song name." ANd so it was temporary dyslexia that had
given the magic word CC.

I read somewhere that Chris was not that close to Cobain. But Ben was. Ben
had traveled with Nirvana as a roadie and back up bass player.

Superunknown (the song) is about dyslexia. Chris did the song for SOME reason
(Clown, HELP!!!!)...he may have read something, and then read it again and it
said something TOTALLY different.
The album is titled Superunknown...so the album itself is about dyslexia
(hmmmm...I understand your confusion now...not all the songs, it's just
titled about a song about dyslexia)

Look. BMF, you are a serious jackass. He's NEVER posted here before, he's
never seen anything, and you go around acting like the dick that you are.
That's why nobody likes you.

Okay, everyone...here's a little project for you. Record 665 as a .wav file.
Then, reverse it, and play it that way!!

"I love you Satan, baby!!" and much much more will come RIIIIIIIIGHT on out.
So, now, what ARE the lyrics?

OK, specifically I'm looking at the part that starts out "I'm the
beast...". Considering those four lines, I think there's an argument to
be made. But this is a family show, so I'll leave it to your imagination.

If Chris is homophobic, I can't imagine that he and Kurt were very
good friends. Kurt once said in an interview - in Spin? - that if it
weren't for Courtney he would have considered himself gay (Terri Hatcher,
maybe, but Ms. Love? musta been some good junk). The idea of someone in a
Seattle band being anti-gay, though, seems so _wrong_. It's such a liberal
place - it's not Eugene, but it's close. Then again I don't remember
Soundgarden doing any benefits for Hands Off Washington, so maybe....
Well, whatever. At least they don't include messages of hatred in their
songs, like some bands I could mention.

***ON A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT NOTE (sorry to yell, but I had to get your
attention): Here's a question for the die-hard SG fans in the audience: has
anyone out there got the lowdown on Green River? If I'm remembering correctly
(and I don't think I am) it was a band featuring members of SG and/or
Mudhoney and/or MotherLoveBone. I don't know if they even released anything
other than a single or two, but apparently they were one of those great
collaborations that were going on in Seattle in the mid-to-late '80's (if only
I'd known). *SIGH*

Soundgarden cereal idea:

Um, yeah. If I'm talkin' too much somebody kindly tell me to shut up.
I've just had waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much coffee.

Bu-bye

I don't think anyone from soundgarden ever played with green
river. it may have only been stone and jeff from pj, and mark arm from
mudhoney, but I'm sure someone out there knows more than I do about green
river.
