Dear all,
Does anyone in the world have any sort of idea about the
reading festival in England and if SOUNDGARDEN are actually plating or
not. I have heard that they are, they aren't, and that pearl jam are also
playing or covering for them.

So what the hell is actually going on then?

                                               Dan.

Daniel and Everyone interested,
Soundgarden is playing at the reading festival in england. Along with
Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins, Hole and Bjork. Subtract green day and you
have got a damn good concert. Either way it should be pretty awesome. Wish
I lived in england right now.

Yes, they are going to play the Reading festival in England and then they are
supposedly doing some shows around Europe with White Zombie and a band called
Reef. Hopefully they'll be doing some new stuff.
                                                          In regard to "does
anyone like "Half"? I love that song! I read an interview with Chris and Kim
in Guitar Player magazine last year in which Kim said that Chris didn't even
play on the studio version of this song and that it was "weird" not having
him there. He also joked that this song was his way of getting in touch with
his roots.

Grote,
In regards to UltramegaUnknown you can probably find it at a mom and pop
cd store that specializes in alternative music. Or anyplace that sells
bootlegs for that matter. It will probably run you about 20 Bucks. the
    tracks are:
    1. Cold Bitch
    2. Exit Stonehenge
    3. Birth Ritual (Demo)
    4. Like Suicide (Acoustic)
    5. She Likes Surprises (uk Superunknown Track)
    6. Spoonman (Steve Frisk REmix)
    7. Show Me
    8. New Damage w/ Brian May
    9. Seasons
    10. Birth Ritual
    11. My Wave (Live)
    12. Jesus Christ Pose (live) Matt goes nuts on the Drums
    13. Hunted Down (live)
    14. Fell on Black Days (live)
    15. Kickstand (live)

One thing that's very intresting is that I listened to Soundgarden's Black
Hole Sun on MTV, and I really liked it, it was my favorite song. Then, I went
and bought the album. I started thinking, UGH! ! ! WHY did I buy this? I
listened to it again, and it was my favorite CD. I never took it out of the
player the entire summer. Then, I started listening to more Soundgarden,
Badmotorfinger. I like Soundgarden as an ALTERNATIVE/HARD ROCK band...but
with Badmotorfinger I like them even more as a metal band. I now have every
album except Ultramega OK.

Dude, you are missing out... IMO Ultramega OK is one of the best albums
that they have put out.

I hate to admitt this especially since I seem to have started this whole
debate on soundgarden and pop music. But I did not really start listening to
soundgarden untill I saw the Black Hole Sun Video. I bought the Cd and
basically played black hole sun over and over. I did not really become a big
fan untill I heard bad motorfinger. I listened to the cd all the way through
and fell in love. From the first bar of outshined untill the last chord of
new Damage. I did not really start liking the superunk album untill I read all
the lyrics and heard fell on Black Days. I has listened to it all the way
through once but did'nt like it. After I heard Black Days I listened to the
whole thing again and Now it's about my favorite album of all time. Oh well
MTV is good for something.
