Abstract

Almost all organizations today do their work through work teams. The teams may be family groups, that is managers and employees, they may be colleague or peer groups, such as regional sales managers, or all division directors of an agency or an ASME section. They may be technical teams such as total development or quality control function. They may be project teams with members from a variety of functions brought together for some specific activity. They may be start up teams for a new enterprise or top management. Therefore, today many organizations are working to improve their team effectiveness.
