Effective Delegation


Abstract

The course Effective Delegation begins with the asking of the question why we don't delegate. Answers are given to the question and a series of exercises which allow participants to discuss and think why they do not delegate more often.

The definition of delegation is derived from that of the process of establishing effective working arrangements between manager and employee. Some guidelines are given for delegating which have been found to be effective by managers with experience. Ways to assign accountability when delegating are presented. During the course you will be given tools to help you evaluate your delegating skills and improve on them.
